Recommended Portfolios - Performance Update (1 year)
March 30, 2016

A yearly update on the performance of our Recommended Portfolios

Author : iFAST Research

Recommended Portfolios - Performance Update (1 year)

We had revamped our Recommended Portfolios on March 23, 2015. In line with tradition; we are updating our investors on the performance of our portfolios over the period of 1 year (March 23, 2015 - March 23, 2016). In 2014, our portfolios that had maximum exposure into equities, not just outperformed the benchmarks by a good margin, but were even in the positive territory. The trend reversed in 2015, wherein the same portfolios nosedived into the negative zone. However, it is interesting to note that despite the free fall of the market in 2015, all our domestic portfolios were able to outperform their respective benchmarks. The top performing portfolios for the last 1 year belonged to the conservative and moderately conservative categories which had more than 70% exposure into short term/accrual funds.
