Description

Baroda Pioneer Mutual Fund was established by Bank of Baroda on October 30, 1992. Pioneer Global Asset Management SpA (Pioneer Investments) a global asset manager with 82 years of experience and assets under management of € 165 billion (as on June 2013), acquired 51% of the shareholding of Baroda Pioneer Asset Management Co. Ltd. (earlier known as BOB Asset Management Company Limited) and became the co-sponsor of Baroda Pioneer Mutual Fund.

Bank of Baroda entered into an agreement on 5 October 2007 with Pioneer Investments and consequent to the agreement and regulatory approvals, the Fund and the AMC is called Baroda Pioneer Mutual Fund and Baroda Pioneer Asset Management Company Limited respectively
