Q: When & How can I sell/redeem my units?

A: A sell transaction can be placed once the units have been allocated and reflected in your holdings.

You can follow the below mentioned steps for selling the units:

Log in
Click on the Transactions Tab
Sell Mutual Funds
Select a fund
Enter the amount/units to be redeemed or Select All units for redemption
Click on Submit
Tick the Terms & Conditions
Enter the login password
Click on confirm

A: Yes, you can specify the redemption /sell order by units as well as amount.

Q: What is the cut off time for sell transactions at Fundsupermart.com and when will my sell order be transacted?

A: The cut off time for sell transactions for all types of funds is up to 2.00pm. Sell transactions confirmed by this time will be executed on the same business day.

Orders submitted after the cut off time will be executed on the next business day.

Orders submitted on a non-business day will be transacted on the next business day.

Q: Is there any time period for holding funds?

A: The holding periods for funds are stipulated by the issuing fund houses.

Please read the Offer Document/ Scheme Information Document of the fund to confirm this.

Q: Do I need to pay any sales charge when I sell any of my funds?

A: There is no charge levied by Fundsupermart.com. If the fund has an exit load then you will be charged the exit load as per the scheme features by the fund house itself.

Q: When will I know the selling price of my holdings?

A: In respect of valid online redemption transactions submitted up to 2.00pm on a business day, the closing NAV of the day immediately preceding the next business day will be applicable. In respect of valid online redemption applications submitted after 2.00pm on a business day, the closing NAV of the next business day will be applicable.

Q: How do I receive my redemption proceeds?

A: The AMC will directly send you the redemption proceeds either as a direct credit to your registered bank account or by cheque at your KYC verified address, depending upon their payment mechanism. The time for receiving the redemption proceeds will also depend on the AMC's process.

Q: What is the TAT for receiving redemption proceeds?

A: The TAT for receiving redemption proceeds depends on the AMC's process and also upon the various funds.

a. For Liquid funds, the TAT is within T+1 business days i.e. excluding Saturdays, Sundays and other public holidays.
b. For Debt funds, the TAT is within T+2 business days i.e. excluding Saturdays, Sundays and other public holidays.
c. For Equity funds (excluding gold & global funds), the TAT is within T+3 business days i.e. excluding Saturdays, Sundays and other public holidays.
d. For Gold funds, the TAT is within T+5 business days i.e. excluding Saturdays, Sundays and other public holidays.
e. For Global funds, the TAT is within T+7 business days i.e. excluding Saturdays, Sundays and other public holidays.
