| The introduction of an additional avenue to transact in mutual funds is a welcome step for the industry as well investors. The recent changes will enhance the reach of mutual funds amongst the retail investors. However, the pace at which reforms are occurring in the industry has left several market players including advisers confused and clueless about of future course of action. Though the current move may provide mutual funds to larger segment of the society, it may not necessarily ensure understanding of the mutual fund products to all and sundry.
